Grief
Grief touches many parts of women's lives: pregnancy loss, the death of a parent or partner, estrangement from family, the unspoken losses of fertility struggles, and the changes that come with major life transitions. It does not follow a predictable path, and it is rarely a tidy or finished process.
Grief can show up as sadness, anger, numbness, anxiety, exhaustion, or guilt. It can resurface around anniversaries, milestones, or seemingly out of nowhere. You may feel pressure to move on while still carrying something heavy.
How Therapy Helps
Therapy offers space to name what has been lost and how it is shaping your life now. We work with women navigating reproductive loss, the death of someone close, anticipatory grief, ambiguous loss, and the quieter forms of grief that come with role and identity change.
Treatment is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including CBT and EMDR when grief is complicated by trauma, and tailored to where you are in the process. You do not need to move quickly, and you do not need to grieve alone.
Taking the First Step
Beginning Therapy
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Many clients reach out after spending months — sometimes years — wondering whether they should seek support.
If you're considering therapy, we'd love to help you take the next step.
