Open Position
Women's Mental Health / Perinatal Therapist
LICSW, LCSW, or LMHC — Virtual, full or part-time in Massachusetts. Supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, fertility, and life transitions in a sustainable, insurance-based practice.
I am seeking a full-time perinatal mental health therapist to join my growing psychotherapy practice as a founding member of the clinical team.
At Era Psychotherapy, you'll be part of a team that is invested in being at the forefront of perinatal mental health care. Our work is grounded in a simple belief: supporting women isn't just a specialty issue; it's foundational to the health of families and generations to come. This is an ideal opportunity for a Massachusetts-licensed clinician who is passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, fertility challenges, the emotional complexities of early parenthood, in addition to work challenges, relationship issues, and managing other life stressors.
The therapist will maintain a consistent telehealth caseload while providing compassionate, evidence-based care in a supportive and autonomy-oriented practice environment. Administrative services such as billing, marketing, and insurance claims are managed by the practice so clinicians can focus primarily on clinical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy to women experiencing mental health concerns across the life span, with a specific focus on the perinatal period
- Maintain a consistent weekly caseload of approximately 25–28 clients for full time, or over 10 clients for part time
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans
- Complete timely clinical documentation including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
Licensure & Experience
- LICSW, LCSW, or LMHC licensed in Massachusetts
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field
- Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy
- Interest or training in perinatal mental health strongly preferred (PMH-C certification or working toward certification is a plus)
- Experience, either professional or lived, with the perinatal population is strongly valued, though not required
Work Arrangement
- Full-time, fully remote position
- Clinicians maintain approximately 25–28 sessions per week
- Full autonomy over scheduling and working hours
