Insurance & Payment

We believe specialized care should be accessible. That's why we work with insurance in two ways: in-network with several major plans, and through out-of-network benefits for everyone else.

We're in-network with

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Aetna
  • Mass General Brigham Health Plan
  • UnitedHealthcare
  • Harvard Pilgrim Health Care

If you have one of these plans, we bill your insurance directly. Your cost per session depends on your specific plan, including your deductible, copay, or coinsurance. Because your insurance company determines your rate, we can't guarantee it in advance.

We recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card to confirm your behavioral health and telehealth benefits before your first session. Not sure what to ask? See the questions to ask your insurance company.

Using out-of-network benefits

If your plan isn't listed above, you may still have out-of-network benefits that cover part of the cost — many of our clients do. Here's how it works:

  1. 1

    Pay for your session

Payment is due at the time of each session. We accept credit cards and HSA/FSA cards.

  2. 2

    Receive a superbill

We provide a superbill: an itemized receipt with the diagnosis and service codes your insurance company needs.

  3. 3

    Submit for reimbursement

You submit the superbill to your insurance company, which may reimburse a portion of the cost once your out-of-network deductible is met.

If you're paying out of pocket, you're entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before you begin.
